Hi! I’m Marcia, the founder and owner of Avalon Willow Home. I’ve always believed that life is complicated enough — creating a space you love shouldn’t be. My goal is to help our customers bring warmth, style, and inspiration into their homes through thoughtfully curated furnishings, décor, and gifts.
How it all started...
Living in Ontario and working in an office for over 22 years, I often found myself longing for a more creative and fulfilling path — one that combined my love for design, home décor, and meaningful connection. That’s how Avalon Willow Home was born: I decided to build the dream I had been imagining for years.
From the very beginning, my vision was about much more than products. I wanted to create a boutique that offered unique, high-quality pieces to Canadian customers while supporting artisans and small businesses both locally and around the world. Every item in our collection is something I personally love, use, or would proudly gift — chosen for its craftsmanship, charm, and heart.
With the support of my fiancé, daughter, and best friends, Avalon Willow Home launched online in 2021. Since then, we’ve grown, adapted, and continued to dream bigger. Our journey hasn’t been without challenges — from the uncertainty of a global pandemic, to learning how to build our own website from scratch with no IT background, to finding our footing in a competitive market - but every step, no matter how tough, has strengthened my vision and commitment to what we do and to share that joy with others.
